Goin' Uptown: Revisited

With Joey Hauser's commitment now hot off the press, time to do an offseason post.

Along with last season's theme of MU's 100th anniversary of basketball, Joe Moran has published a Centennial Edition of his book Goin' Uptown: Marquette's March to Madness and Return to the Final Four.  The book not only includes a foreword by the late great Rick Majerus and a detailed account of the 2002-03 squad's journey to the Final Four, but also an Afterword that recaps Marquette's recent past (yes, last season's win over Villanova is included).  For any Marquette fan, this is a must-have book for the personal library.

Now the important part, how do you get it?  You can find Goin' Uptown at the MU Spirit Shop (in store and online).  You can also order the book directly from Joe Moran by e-mailing him at books@jdmpress.net.  Cover price is only $17.95.

Happy reading.  Go Warriors.
